No longer are green screens reserved for big blockbuster films. We recently worked a fun hybrid live event with Teams involving chroma keying.
Here are some quick tips for a great end result for filming with chroma key:
- Evenly light your screen and separately light the subject.
- Distance the subject from the screen as much as you can to minimize spill and shadows.
- Avoid green and shine on the subject as they can reflect the green and cause transparency.
- Film with a low ISO and a fast shutter speed to reduce noise and motion blur for a clean keying process.
